Le Pianelle “Al Forte”
COSTA DELLA SESIA, ITALY | 2019
Alto Piemonte is one of those “if you know, you know” regions. It’s Nebbiolo country, but shaped by high mountain elevations, volcanic and ancient marine soils, and the cool air that funnels down from the Alps and Apennines.
Domaine Belle “Les Pierrelles”
CROZES-HERMITAGE, FRANCE | 2021
“Les Pierrelles” is 100% Syrah and is a great snapshot of what Crozes can do when it’s treated like more than a stepping-stone: dark fruit, pepper, violets, and that savory Northern Rhône edge.
Selvagrossa “Muschén”
MARCHE, ITALY | 2024
The 2024 “Muschèn” is a blend of 50% Sangiovese, 30% Merlot, and 20% Cabernet Franc. No oak is used; it is fermented and aged only in stainless steel.
Crespaia "Millesimato" Spumante Brut
MARCHE, ITALY | 2023
The Millesimato is a blend of Chardonnay and Bianchello, all from organically farmed grapes that are manually harvested, destemmed, and softly pressed
Tenuta La Viola "Il Colombarone"
ROMAGNA SANGIOVESE SUPERIORE, ITALY | 2023
Sangiovese is known for being one of Italy’s most noble grape varieties. While Brunello di Montalcino and Chianti Classico get most of the hype, the Sangiovese of Romagna can be every bit as complex and ageworthy.
Selvagrossa “Cuchén”
MARCHE, ITALY | 2022
Cuchén” is one of the best-value Italian white wines you can find. It’s made from the indigenous and rare Albanella grape, which is a specialty of the hills around Pesaro.
Azienda Agricola Bruna “Russeghine”
LIGURIA, ITALY | 2023
Last summer this wine got so much praise from our wine club members that we had to bring it back one more time!
Rinaldini "Vecchio Moro"
EMILIA-ROMAGNA, ITALY | NV
This is old-school Emilia-Romagna, deep purple in the glass, bone-dry, and pulsing with energy.
Corte Sant’Alda “Ca’ Fiui”
VALPOLICELLA, ITALY| 2022
“Ca’ Fiui” is crafted from 30- to 40-year-old vines grown across four estate vineyards: Tamasotti, Bianchini, Rossetti, and Cavallero.
La Colombera “Bricco Bartolomeo”
COLLI TORTONESI | 2022
“Cortese is best known for its role in the famed wines of Gavi, but here, in the Colli Tortonesi, it finds a unique expression with added depth and vibrancy.”
Elio Grasso "Vigna Martina” Barbera d'Alba
PIEDMONT, ITALY | 2021
“Grasso’s “Vigna Martina” is made from 100% Barbera grown on sandy, limestone soils at an altitude of 380 meters.”
Cantina Madonna delle Grazie “Liscone”
AGLIANICO DEL VULTURE, ITALY | 2018
"If you have never had Aglianico del Vulture before, then “Liscone” from Cantina Madonna delle Grazie is a textbook example to introduce you."
Sorelle Bronca “Particella 181”
VALDOBIADDENE PROSECCO SUPERIORE, ITALY | 2021
”Like all Prosecco this is made in the Martinotti method. Unlike all Prosecco, the quality of fruit really stands out.”
Agricola Cirelli “Cerasuolo d’Abruzzo”
ABRUZZO, ITALY | 2022
Cerasuolo sits delicately between rosés and full-blown reds, boasting a hue reminiscent of Cerasuolo’s English translation: cherry red.
Uccelliera “Rapace”
TOSCANO ROSSO, ITALY | 2019
Not only is Ucceliera one of the top producers of Brunello and Rosso di Montalcino, they produce an excellent Super Tuscan called “Rapace.”
Ronchi di Cialla “Ciallabianco”
CIALLA DOC, ITALY | 2020
Ciallabianco is 60% Ribolla Gialla, 30% Picolit, and 10% Verduzzo and after four decades the fruit is showing incredible complexity.
Tenuta La Viola "Il Colombarone"
ROMAGNA SANGIOVESE SUPERIORE, ITALY | 2019
While Brunello di Montalcino and Chianti Classico get most of the hype, the Sangiovese of Romagna can be every bit as complex and ageworthy.
