Le Midi is proud to have built a reputation that extends well beyond Illinois, attracting the attention of some of the most respected figures in the wine industry. This evening, we are honored to host Jason Haas of Tablas Creek Vineyard in Paso Robles, one of the leading voices in American wine today. Jason will guide us through a tasting of nine wines, while also sharing his deep expertise on regenerative farming practices and the role of biodynamics in viticulture.
. As the son of the late Robert Haas, who co-founded Tablas Creek with the Perrin family of Château de Beaucastel in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Jason has carried forward a vision that bridges Old World tradition and New World innovation. Under his leadership, Tablas Creek became the first Regenerative Organic Certified vineyard in the United States, setting a new benchmark for sustainability and stewardship in the industry.
Beyond his work at Tablas Creek, Jason has been instrumental in advancing the “Rhône Rangers” movement, which championed Rhône varietals in California and helped establish Paso Robles as a world-class wine region. His dedication to both quality and ecological responsibility has made him a widely respected thought leader, not just in Paso Robles but across the global wine community. Tonight offers a rare opportunity to learn directly from one of the most important figures shaping the present and future of American wine.
