Le Midi is beyond honored to welcome Tracy and Aaron Kendall of Folly of Man winery for an intimate evening exploring some of the greatest new wines coming out of Oregon. Longtime figures in the Willamette Valley, they’ve spent years shaping some of the region’s most compelling wines before turning their focus to their own project. Tracy’s experience alongside some of Burgundy’s greats, paired with Aaron’s time at Beaux Frères, informs a deep commitment to thoughtful, biodynamic farming.
Thier approach is intentionally restrained using minimal sulfur and no filtration all in service of letting each site and vintage speak clearly. Selecting some of the best plots within Willamette Valley, Eola-Amity, and McMinnville, these vineyards produce wines with extraordinary energy and finesse.
Though the Willamette Valley is often seen as established, its story is still unfolding, and Folly of Man is a compelling new chapter. With just a few hundred cases produced and tiny allocations from benchmark biodynamic sites, these wines are some of the most exciting and lauded bottles coming out of the region. Join us in inviting the couple to our table and trying six of their rare wines that just arrived to the Chicago market!
