Le Midi Tasting Events

March Tastings are in!

This month we bring you more of an informal RM Champagne tasting where we can include more guests! We know these are our most popular tastings and tickets sell out quickly, so now is your chance to get a ticket without rushing to click the button.

We will also be having our very first spirits and cocktail seminar featuring one of our favorite spirits’ producers. They are making huge waves around the country with their small-batch handmade spirits, and this is a unique chance to learn how to build your home bar while sipping on some amazing cocktails.

Lastly, at the end of the month we will revive one of our favorite tasting themes: Guess that Bottle Price!
We normally let you know what the prices of the wines are during tastings, but this is all about you voicing which wine you think matches a list of different prices. Get rid of that preconceived notion that wines have to cost a fortune to taste incredible.

RM Champagne Series: Champagne Marx-Coutelas & Fils

Come join us for a laid back night of Champagne revelry as we showcase 4 different champagnes from the RM producer Champagne Marx-Coutelas & Fils! This will be an informal meet-and-greet hosted by Vinejoy Chicago alongside winemaker Bryan Marx where they will pour 2 non-vintage and 2 vintage-dated single-vineyard champagnes while chatting about what’s in your glass. All you have to do it sit back, sip, and relax!

There will also be the option to purchase the wines for retail afterwards.

Included in the ticket price will be four 2-ounce pours of these cuvées.

Matchbook Distilling Cocktail Seminar

Join us with Paul Monahan (partner of Matchbook Distilling Company) for a "DIY at home” cocktail class*. Matchbook Distilling Company is an R&D distillery on the North Fork of NY that focuses on bringing unique flavors to life outside of conventional spirit categories. Whether you are stocking your home bar cart, hosting an impromptu gather at home, or just want to know how the many things in your kitchen cabinet can help build delicious cocktails - spend the evening getting to know to balance out spirits with a few simple tricks.

*These tickets will get you a place at the communal table for the seminar with Paul, but we will also be offering a couple off-menu Matchbook Distilling cocktails at incredible pricing in case you can't be at the table!
