November tastings are here!

As Thanksgiving approaches, we’re excited to bring you a lineup of tastings designed to elevate your holiday table. This month, join us for three unique sessions: we’ll begin with sparkling wines from around the world, move on to one of our favorite Thanksgiving varietals, Chenin Blanc, and wrap up with a selection of light-bodied, “chillable” reds that are perfect for pairing with your holiday feast.

With only 12 seats at our table, spots tend to fill up fast! However, we do maintain a waitlist for those interested in last-minute openings. Simply email seth@lemidiwine.com to be added – you never know when a spot might become available!

Please refrain from wearing overly pungent colognes and perfumes as they can negatively affect the tasting experience. In addition, let us know of any dietary restrictions in advance so we can choose your snacks wisely!

Deep Dive: Chenin Blanc

Chenin Blanc is one of the world’s most versatile and highly-regarded white grape varietals. Its wide range of styles showcases this unique grape’s adaptability, making it an exciting choice for wine lovers. Notably food-friendly, Chenin Blanc complements a variety of dishes, especially those inspired by Thanksgiving. We’ll be opening some everyday quaffers as well as a few bottles from some of the world’s most renowned Chenin Blanc producers listed below!

The Coolest “Chillable” Red Wines

Le Midi has become a go-to destination for representing chilled red wines on our by-the-glass menu, and we have plenty of others from our retail wall that we always recommend being chilled. When it comes to pairing a versatile display of dishes while also not weighing down your palate, chillable red wines are the best way to go. There’s a reason Beaujolais is a Thanksgiving classic! Gamay isn’t the only varietal that shines when chilled, and tonight you’ll discover several others that do, too!
