We are very excited to have just received a few wines from one of the hottest new producers in the Puligny-Montrachet region of Burgundy. Since these wines just became available to our market, we wanted to provide you the first opportunity to get to try them. We welcome you to the magical world of Domaine Thomas-Collardot.
We were ecstatic to be offered one of the first allocations of these cuvées. Their quantities are so limited and are always in high demand from the cellars of Burgundy collectors to some of the most prestigious wine lists in the world. These wines are not to be missed!

The unassuming winery is tucked away off the main square of the village where Jacqueline Collardot and her son Matthieu together quietly craft a handful of meticulously detailed, tense, and undeniably classic Puligny micro-cuvées that have rapidly become world-renowned.
Jacqueline, inheriting her father Pierre Thomas's domaine in 2010, embarked on her winemaking journey culminating in her inaugural vintage in 2015. Not even a decade in, the reputation of this winery has quickly taken off receiving high praises from some of the most respected wine professionals in the industry and entering it into cult-like status. With a dedication to traditional methods and a penchant for perfection, Jacqueline and Matthieu navigate towards organic and biodynamic certification across their portfolio of plots. The vineyards, nurtured by hand and horse, are tended with utmost care as each vineyard is given space to articulate its unique character. In the winery, traditional methods prevail as wines mature in the highest-quality French barrels before bottling allowing for the wines’ gradual development of depth and body. The grapes for this wine come from a small plot situated in clay and limestone soil on a slightly hilly terrain at 220 meters above sea level, formerly a wheat field where a young vine was planted to create the locality's name. Harvested by hand in small pierced boxes, the grapes undergo slow, gentle pressing for four hours, followed by 24 hours of settling before fermentation in 350-liter oak barrels with indigenous yeast. Aging on lees occurs for 10 to 12 months, with further blending in stainless steel vats for 2 to 4 months.
