For the past five years, Chicago has been the proud host of the Third Coast Soif wine fair, showcasing an impressive selection of wines, beers, and ciders that emphasize minimal intervention and natural production methods. This Sunday the 24th marks its sixth year, and we are thrilled to announce that we will be hosting one of our favorite and most revered Provence producers, Clos Cibonne!

Since the 1930s, the Clos Cibonne winemaking family has cultivated a reputation for crafting high-quality, small-production wines, with a primary focus on the rare red varietal Tibouren. If you happened to visit Le Midi last summer, you may have had the pleasure of trying our #1 best-selling rosé by-the-glass: Clos Cibonne “Tentations”. We were fortunate enough to feature this unique wine, a blend crafted with the rare Tibouren varietal, on draft, and secured all available kegs due to its overwhelming popularity among our guests and staff alike.

We are honored to announce that immediately following the Soif tasting, we will be hosting the Cibonne team, siblings Olivier and Caroline Deforges. This presents a rare opportunity to savor a selection of Cibonne wines while mingling with the very individuals responsible for their creation. This is not a ticketed event; rather, it's a casual experience where we will be pouring 5 different wines from Clos Cibonne. You can either enjoy a tasting portion (1.5oz) or full glass. For those of you unable to join us between 5:30 and 7 pm, we will have the wines opened by-the-glass throughout the entirety of the day. 

While the Soif fair is sold out, you can still participate by joining us at Le Midi to taste the fantastic wines of Clos Cibonne.
