August Tastings are in!

This month we are offering three tastings; one will be covering one of my all-time favorite “under-the-radar” regions; another will be just for summer fun in the hottest month; then we’ll have the grande finale by bringing back one of our most popular wine regions for tastings.

*Payment in full is required up front to guarantee your seats. As we have very few seats to offer, a strict 48-hour cancellation policy will be in effect to receive a full refund.

Please refrain from wearing overly pungent colognes and perfumes as they can negatively affect the tasting experience. In addition, let us know of any dietary restrictions in advance so we can choose your snacks wisely!

The New South Africa

As many of you know, we love supporting our South African wineries. Though wine has been produced here for centuries, the “New South Africa” that’s emerging is truly mind-boggling when it comes to high quality, environmentally-friendly, and price-friendly wines. We have many new wines in since our last tasting, so we hope you come in to see what makes this region so spectacular.

For the love of Rosé

‘Tis the season for the pink wines we all scramble over when the weather warms up. Just like all wines that come into Le Midi, we only select the best-of-the-best for our customers and that holds true for our rosé selections. This is not going to be your everyday bulk produced wines, but rosés that stand out against the plentiful selections that are available. This is a tasting for the serious rosé drinker and we can’t wait to show you why!

Champagne Showdown: Savart vs Pouillon

How often do you get to sit down and experience a champagne duel from two prolific producers? We’ve been waiting to get enough of these unicorn wines in to do a showdown between two champagne powerhouses: Frédéric Savart and R. Pouillon & Fils. We’re showing 4 similar cuvées from each producer that express just how different they can taste in the glass dependent on each winemaker’s alchemy. It’s going to be full of geeky education, but most of all, packed with fun and some of the world’s best and rarest champagnes!
