Le Midi Tasting Events

October Tastings are in!

This month we have three tastings ranging from seriously educational to seriously fun; however, we already know all tastings at Midi are fun, so no worries there!

To start, we will be welcoming one of our favorite Piedmont importers to Chicago while having a collaborative tasting showcasing some of the greatest small-production wines from the region.

The second tasting will be just as incredible as we open some of the most famous Pinot Noirs to come out of the US. These wines are extremely limited and took great patience to build up in our inventory, but we are finally able to provide the experience we have been wanting to give you.

The final tasting will be a blast (and a bit scary) as we push our joiners to test our their blind tasting skills right before the most frightening night of the year.

We look forward to having you at our cozy communal table where you will quench your palate with some amazing wines while building long-lasting friendships.

*Payment in full is required up front to guarantee your seats. As we have very few seats to offer, a strict 48-hour cancellation policy will be in effect to receive a full refund.

Please refrain from wearing overly pungent colognes and perfumes as they can negatively affect the tasting experience. In addition, let us know of any dietary restrictions in advance so we can choose your snacks wisely!

The Piedmont Guy Tasting

Join us at Le Midi’s communal table for a special evening with one of our favorite Piedmont importers, The Piedmont Guy. We'll explore nine distinctive wines from the region, showcasing a variety of styles that range from playful and intriguing to classic and brooding. Hosting the evening will be Seth, joined by his dear friend Amy Ezrin from The Piedmont Guy, who will expertly guide us through the lineup. Expect a night of exceptional wine, light bites, and, as always, plenty of laughter and camaraderie.

(Bottles will be available for purchase with discounts applied to 6 and 12-bottle cases.)

The Heat: Famous Pinot Noirs from the US

Tonight we will be focusing on the incredible US winemakers who have helped elevate the status of New World Pinot Noir from mediocrity to world class. We’ll be showcasing 8 wines from California and Oregon that are some of the most rare and exemplary examples of this noble varietal. We are so proud of the lineup that we have put together for you that we’ll show off what we have in store as these are some of the most lauded wines in the country.

Trick or Treat: Le Midi Blind Tasting

What's more scary than a blind tasting? Join us as we conjure your inner wine tasting magic to prepare for the spookiest night of the year! Dare to take on the chilling challenge of identifying wines with nothing but your innate senses. For those brave enough to attend, we’ll send a cryptic email (or should we say... an omen) of the grapes, so you can try to avoid the tricks. And for those who make the right guesses? Well, there’ll be some fang-tastic Halloween treats to sink your teeth into!
